Chekhov´s birthday!

Our once little puppy (hence his nickname Little C.) Chekhov is 3 today.
Of course it is reason for celebration which will take place this Sunday, cakes and all ;-) as Fenixes B day is coming very soon, we are celebrating this at the same time.
We got our dear Chekhov from Netherlands one sunny day in summer 2 years, 9 months and 3 weeks ago.
He was a horrid passenger, trying to climb onto top of my head the whole not even 2 hour trip.

The first night we knew how it will be. Chekhov (his real name is Good Vibrations after the song by Beach Boys) will sleep in kitchen since we got a special bed for him and wanted to be sure there will be no night accidents where there are no tiles on floor.
Well, he did sleep in kitchen, partly anyway.

In between the doors. And we slept in hallway on matrasse to keep him company since he was crying unbelievably loud. And we felt terrible.

3 nights and we gave up and he was allowed into every part of house he liked at any time of the day or night.
And the story of open doors to bathroom if anybody is in started. No privacy perhaps, but what can you say when he looks like this?

Since that one day in summer, he grew so fast that I have a picture of him with Dag as a reminder on my desktop. He used to be real small. So small, that while youngest, he was the biggest puppy at puppy school. So small, that even majority of dogs we met in the nearest park were smaller. And our cauch was back then white....

We love you Chekhov,

Happy Birthday!

charity auction on SFL

The auction on Sighthounds For Life is over and all my items were sold. I went for classics, so, pair of fingerless gloves,

snood for doggie (yes, Fenix was asleep while I was taking the photo as he would not cooperate otherwise),

and set of wash cloths

gloves and snood are 100% handmade by me, hand dyed fibre, handspun and handknitted. The cotton wash cloths are from bought yarn ;-).
There is Greyhound GAP auction comming, which I am looking forward to and I will surely donate items into that one as well.
Will update when I have pictures of items I am donating to GAP.
